Since its inception in 2016, the Eco Expo Asia\u00a0International Trade Fair on Environmental Protection<\/a> \u2013 held annually in Hong Kong \u2013 has become a global hub for the cleantech professionals in Asia. Companies and governmental agencies huddle to present their latest concepts\/technologies that promise to reduce waste and ensure sustainable use of resources.\u00a0<\/p> \n \n

The purpose of Eco Expo<\/strong>\u00a0Asia<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2> \n \n

Facing unprecedented environmental degradation, Asian countries are investing heavily in cleantech to combat what has already become a public health hazard. According to the\u00a0Climate & Clean Air Coalition<\/a>, for example, “92% of Asia and the Pacific\u2019s population \u2013 about 4 billion people \u2013 are exposed to levels of air pollution that pose a significant risk to their health”. Air pollution not only threatens public health, but also impacts agricultural crop yields negatively, leading to an overall detrimental effect on economic growth.<\/p> \n \n

The Eco Expo Asia is an excellent platform for cleantech companies to exhibit their latest products that solve real problems, without undermining the environment. At the event, companies, investors and industry insiders will convene over a 4-day period to share insights and best practices vis-\u00e0-vis environmental protection.\u00a0<\/p> \n \n

Finland\u00a0aims to become\u00a0a global leader in\u00a0energy efficiency, clean industrial processes and bioenergy<\/a>.\u00a0 The Eco Expo Asia 2019 presents an excellent opportunity for Finnish\u00a0cleantech\u00a0& technology\u00a0companies to showcase their innovative inventions\u00a0to eager\u00a0Asian customers. As it happens, Finland is home to the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0biggest share of renewable energy of total\u00a0energy consumption in EU<\/a>. Enjoying such a respectful reputation in the world, Finland \u2013 and by extension Finnish companies \u2013 can benefit from having a presence at the event.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p> \n \n

This year\u2019s event will start on the 30th<\/sup>\u00a0of October and conclude on the 2nd<\/sup> of November.
