Naturpolis’s Communications Initial Mapping
We conducted an initial mapping of communications for three companies specializing in sustainable tourism in Kuusamo, offering accommodation and event services. The focus was on assessing the current state and identifying opportunities for communication to support business and brand development, culminating in actionable recommendations for future endeavors.
What we accomplished:
- Interactive Workshops: Through a series of two workshops with representatives from each company, we delved into the customer's perspectives on communication. These sessions focused on understanding willingness, available resources, and overarching goals for communication.
- Holistic Mapping: Our mapping process delved into various aspects, encompassing an analysis of technical and communicational features of the website, language and image choices tailored to target groups, and an exploration of the potential of utilizing social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Alignment with Project Requirements: The mapping took into account the specific requirements and objectives of the funding project, considering how brand development could be leveraged to expand the customer base.
- Observations and Suggestions: Building on the insights gained through mapping, we provided the customer with detailed observations and actionable suggestions for further improvement and strategic communication development.
